It is September 12th! After months of preparation and organization on the part of female condom advocates everywhere, the first ever Global Female Condom Day has finally arrived! Across the globe, advocates, supporters, and users of the female condom are participating in Global Female Condom Day events in their communities and showing their support for increased access and availability of female condoms.
The Universal Access to Female Condoms (UAFC) Joint Programme calls upon everyone who is engaged in and/ or feels strongly about Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR), Fighting HIV/ AIDS, Women’s Rights and/ or Sustainable International Development more generally to join this event and show the world you care and that others should too!
